Why be a tutor?
If you want to serve the Dunman community, share your knowledge and help out your peers, then do consider joining our project as a tutor? We believe this can help consolidate you knowledge as you impart valuable insights to your peers.
Being a tutor and serving our project will constitute VIA commitment, and tutors will be awarded VIA hours based on their involvement level in our project.
What is expected of tutors?
The responsibilities and workload of being a tutor on our platform is largely up to the individuals themselves. Our sign-up form will enable prospective tutors to indicate the level of involvement they wish to commit to the project.
Once appointed, tutors will then be assigned tutees based on the preferences and interests of both parties. Tutors are then expected to commit to their assigned tutees, being readily available and willing to initiate conversations to find out more about how they can offer academic and non-academic assistance to their tutees.
To withdraw from our programme
We are sad to see you go, but we do understand if you are unable to commit to our ongoing initiatives. Please do inform us at least a week in advance, and fill in this withdrawal form below to resign from the tutorship programme. Do contact us if you have further questions, and we wish you all the best!
